Day Out

Parking n. : leisurely strolling through trees, over hills, seeing wildlife, enjoying nature!

Today Andrew and I went parking at Green Park and St James Park. We hadn't been to these parks before and were pleasantly surprised by the views and the squirrels (sorry for the excessive amount of photos of the squirrels but I just think they are the cutest thing, other than Andrew!)

We thought you could follow our journey on the map. We started at Green Park, then walked past Buckingham Palace through to St James Park. We then crossed the road and went and saw the horses dudes (just near 10 Downing Street) and then finishing in Trafalga Square at a little cafe with a latte, hot chocolate and some time to do some more artsy photographs.

So here's the map:
So since we've been having problems with embeding the slideshows in the actual blog - click below to see all the shots:

(addition by Andrew here:)
just for interest's sake, I took 5 photographs of the plaque at Trafalga square and mashed them together. if you're interested, click here for the whole thing but you may have to download it to your computer or adjust your internet explorer/firefox settings to actually read the words.

I just laughed and laughed at the comments below the photos - especially the one with the strap of his hat in his mouth.

The photos are just terrific.

It makes me want to be there.

We were on opposite sides of the world as well! There was a BSOD on the 'time machine' showing the time. LOL.
