just a quick update. been feeling guilty having not posted a blog entry since before Christmas.
We've done the following:
- We both got sick for about a week and a half
- We bought a smaller magnetic chess set and have played a few times in coffee shops in west end etc :-) debbie is learning not to stress about it and is playing both better and faster! (I'm going to have to practice now)
- We found a new favorite Resturant (www.pasha-restaurant.co.uk)
- Debbie and I went rollerblading in hyde park (and yes! debbie bladed by herself!)
- We had dinner with Ed.
- Booked two holidays: Belgium and holland in march (just for 3 nights) and France in June for 7 nights for when my Mum and Dad and Nathan and Jill and Sophie come over.
- Debbie's read "the picture of Dorian Gray" her first bit of "literature" for about a year. (not that I've been reading anything special lately)
- Andrew's become flavour of the month at work due to one-upping the senior analyst-programmer on a number of technical matters.
- Debbie is learning to "chill" in general. trying to think positively and look at the good things in life rather than focus on everything that hasn't been done and needs to be done.
- had a number of outings to our local park and watched ducks, swans and other weird birds that we don't know what they are play arround.
- We went to the National Portrait gallery (linky)
- Mika is comming over to stay for a few nights on the 8th of feb.
- Ed's birthday party is this weekend (james bond theme at the very posh Artesian Bar)
- We're going to Belgium! on the 24th of march, staying in brussels for three nights with a day trip to Amsterdam. it's not exactly the longest holiday but we're saving up for the long break in Jun.
- A blog post with some photos of hyde park that we havn't posted since we took them late last year.
- A trip to Winsor castle! (to be planned for sometime in February).
